The purchase of Diosese property in 1984 marked the beginning of what is today Bishops Bay Country Club.
The golf course itself preserves more than 200 acres as a permanent green space and adds 600 new trees to the natural terrain. Every effort is made to ensure Bishops Bay will remain a club of the finest quality and truly a source of pride for members and their families.
Designed by noted architect Bob Lohmann, the Bishops Bay Country Club Golf
Course was nominated for the 1995 Golf Digest “Best New Course Award”. Built by The Bruce Company of Middleton, its course rating is 74.8, making Bishops Bay one of the toughest course in the state.
Champion and beginner alike will appreciate the challenge and beauty of Bishops Bay, where the walk up the 18th fairway, with its stunning backdrop of Wisconsin’s Capitol across the lake, is unmatched this side of Pebble Beach!
